      The smells and the sounds of gameday attract fans from all over the world to their respective teams.  From the major sports teams of European soccer or Carribean baseball to the smaler American high school sports, most everyone has a passion for their sport.  It may be the smell of barbeques at a tailgate, being in the friendly company of fellow fans, or standing up for one's team while marching to a stadium that drives people constantly to attend games or matches.  Of course with all that aside, the purpose to attend a sporting event is to physically watch the game; in person with the company of cheering others.  And this game consists of teh atheletes.  Every eye in the stands watching these atheletes excell, fail, and overcome adversary.  Some people choose to attend sporting events ti live their glory years, for love of the sport, or for pure entertainment.  

     With all the unique sport rituals that aid in charging gameday atmosphere, some may appear outlandish in appearance and function.  Some examples may be the fan favorite Lebron James powder toss or the customary male streaker at a Cub's game.  however these are well documented and observed.  The purpose of this website is to understand the meaning, functionality, and boundary of a pregame ritual.  Pregame rituals vary from individuals and teams, but all relatively serve the same purpose to the team or individual.  The rituals discussed here are either unseen from a spectators or fans point of view, or are so bizarre that it has nothing to do with the respecitve sport itself.
